International Day Of Yoga 20 Celebrations go digital.

Yoga has long been a soft power that India has possessed. Ever since PM Narendra Modi led dignitaries from 84 nations to perform a set of 21 yoga postures at Rajpath on 21st June 2015, International Yoga Day has been observed every year across the world. Yoga has been Indias greatest gift to the world after Aryabhattas invention of zero.

 

This year though, the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions seemed to hamper the IDY celebrations across the world. It was then that UNION, A platform for complete physical, mental and spiritual well being, and Indias leading event company Red Carpet Entertainers partnered with Amway to create a one-of-a-kind digital program using modern day technology to observe International Yoga Day 2020.

The weekend program scheduled to start on June 20th is spread over 2 days and 7 sessions where policy makers, yogis, spiritual leaders, industry experts, Bollywood celebrities, authors, Ayurvedic & Homeopathic doctors, and nutrition experts will talk about the ancient science of Yoga, its benefits, aims and its importance in todays day and age. Some of the prominent speakers to feature are Padma Bhushan Dr David Frawley, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Padma Shri Dr Batra of Batra clinics, Author Amish Tripathi, Padma Shri Shovana narayan, Designer Ritu Beri, Director Madhur Bhandarkar, and Honble Rajya Sabha MP; Priyanka Chaturvedi.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Ayush, Eat Right Foundation and International Naturopathy Organization, and will be featured LIVE event by popular social media channels, Mystics Of India, Sadhguru And, Green Dream Foundation, Spiritual TV and help millions of viewers to join from across the globe. The sessions will also be broadcasted from Facebook Page of UNION and Amway India.

The program will be Inaugurated on June 20th at 12 noon in the presence of Honble Rajya Sabha Member Priyanka Chaturvedi, Padma Shri Shovana
Narayan, Amway CEO Mr Anshu Budhraja and Bollywood celebrity Shibani Kashyap. All the sessions will be moderated by popular celebrity talk show host Nidhi Kumar, and yogi & Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Shlloka.

Shlloka will also be teaching ISHA Hatha Yoga practices, designed by Sadhguru for children and their families, for FREE. Children and families across the globe are expected to join this free offering and take benefit.

The other sessions include, IN YOGA, a Live Panel discussion with – Mohan ji, Dr Frawley, Acharya Pundrik Ji, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati ji; INSIGHTS- Eat Right India session, with personalities like Shri Pawan Agarwal Special Secretary (Logistics)Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Former CEO FSSAI; Sh. Anant Biradar, President INO & Member, Governing Body National Institute of Naturopathy, Ministry of AYUSH; Ms. Isha Koppikar, Film Actress & Goodwill Ambassador of INO; Mr. Prabodh Halde, Head Regulatory, Marico and Mr. Anshu Budhraja, CEO Amway coming together to discuss about quality, food safety and policy matters.

IN GOOD HEALTH brings together renowned pioneers of Alternative Medicine. A Live Panel discussion and Q n A with Dr Mukesh Batra of Dr Batras, Dr Chauhan of Jiva Ayurveda, Dr Gauhar Vatsyanan HOD Panchkarma of Guru Nanak Ayurveda College.

The next day, after the Isha Hatha Yoga offering in the morning, the sessions includeINWARD, where the hosts will have a LIVE conversation with Vivek Anand Oberoi and Amish Tripathi. The program will end on a high note with the session IN LIVING WELL which will see the whos who of Bollywood, in a soulful stirring conversation about their inward struggles to success, their lifestyles, health, fitness mantra. Guest list includes India’s leading bollywood director; Madhur Bhandarkar, leading designer; Ritu Beri, Actor of Patalok fame; Jaideep Ahlawat; Miss India International and Model; Ayeesha Surpiya Aiman, and Women Achievers from Amway.
